About Me

I received my Masters degree in Counselling Psychology at McGill University in 2021 and I have been working within the mental health field for the past 8 years. I have experience working within public, private and educational settings and I aim to bridge elements of those different systems into my work. With your permission, I hope to create a safer space with you.

I often get asked what to expect in a first session, and my priority for us, is to begin by establishing a therapeutic bond. Research continuously shows that one of the strongest predictors of successful therapeutic outcomes is the therapeutic alliance.

In our sessions, we will work at your own pace and comfort level. At times, therapy can be uncomfortable, and we will sit with that discomfort together and integrate tools to help you self-regulate and self-soothe.

Bottom line- I believe in therapy. I have both witnessed and experienced it's benefits. I am more than happy to address any concerns or hesitations that you may have and I look forward to embarking on this journey with you.
